Have been a few times in the past and loved it. BUT! My wife and I took family from Aberdeen recently and was to say the least, embarrassed by the standard of the food and quantity being served. Fish pie was like soup under the top. And the sweet potato curry looked like in was a ready meal just dumped on the plate. They forgot our drinks as starters arrived first , which were also disappointing. They did give us a fair discount after I pointed out the failings but doesn't retract the service and quality I would have expected from them. Would I go back?Probably, but at a less busy time ,and definitely not on a Saturday night.
Absolutely dreadful place, service poor food poor. Have been before and enjoyed it,but won't be back. Awful
First time here, my partner surprised me as a extra Xmas gift. Great location and food and staff. We were actually booked in for the Largs restaurant but fortunately for us one of the staff member took charge and fixed it so we could swap our booking to the Troon restaurant. So grateful they did that for us otherwise it would have been an extra 30 minutes drive for us!
Booked our hogmanay dinner with Scotts and I couldn't fault it. We have booked with them twice and both time the meal and entertainment was great. Lovely friendly staff
Very busy with new years dinners. I only wanted coffee & a scone,they happily found me a seat & attended me with kindness as if I was there for a meal. Surroundings lovely with a choice of seating. A lift for those who need it & plenty parking.. Recommend
